The cakepop is a lie

Hard truth: cakepops taste like cake that someone chewed up and spit out. They’re nasty. I admire the effort and creativity that goes into making them, but they still taste terrible. Yes, they are adorable. So are kittens, and I don’t eat kittens either.

  1. If only it were possible to like this post to infinity. Cake pops suck. I’ve heard they’re made with cake mix and frosting mixed together into a paste. I hate most frosting, and cake pops don’t even taste as good as that. Bleeccchhh. Sugared nastiness on a stick.

Yep, that’s how I’ve seen cakepops made. Although I think there is also a machine you can buy that makes round little cakes if you want to do it that way, but then you can’t make it into cute shapes. I love frosting, and I still think they are nasty. Something about the pre-mixing of the frosting and the cake makes it all wrong.

I…I have never had a cake pop and now I’m glad.

Especially because I don’t like frosting.

Haaahahahaha! YES! They look great and taste gross.
