The other day I read a “lookback” at the front lines on the War on Women in America for the year 2012. Todd Akin, the Issa Panel, Limbaugh wanting to see the Sandra Fluke sex tape while refusing to show his own sex tape for receiving Viagra, Virginia requiring rape by ultrasound wand, that sort of thing. Um…wut? Yes, I remember this. I remember this and the ginned up controversy over it. I remember the context of it and how Rosen was talking about economic issues and working for money. As far as I can tell, people don’t get paid for being moms. And getting paid is one definition of work.

The introduction to the timeline said “But Democrats also left there mark with an ill-timed snipe at stay-at-home mom Ann Romney, reinvigorating the ‘mommy wars’.” What mommy wars? Do you mean like how Republicans are forcing us to bear children?

Look, I get it. Fair and balance. Yeah, that’s a great goal. But when one of the sides is blatantly not like the other, don’t create a fake controversy to try to make yourself look balanced. The reason why there were so many Republicans on that list and no Democrats was not because of a media bias but because the Republicans really are that hateful and idiotic.
