Rep. Brown took down her contact info because she is an idiot and a coward. Luckily, other sites put it up. Call her. Even if you’re not from New Mexico. Let her know she can’t get away with taking away the Constitutionally protected rights of victims. If her secretary hangs up on your (she hung up on me), call back. Ask her how is she going to “clarify” the bill to protect the Constitutionally protected rights of victims. Tell her that DNA is still available from fetuses that have been removed from victims.
Oh my! I find American politics fascinating. Calling a foetus produced by rape evidence. When it became a living child, what would it be called then? After they had proved their case, would they lock the child up in a box in case of appeals?
Would they put the fetus in an evidence locker and then dispose of it when they were done with it?
I feel like there is a dead baby joke to be made. But I used to have better taste.
I just learned that the statute of limitations for prosecuting the crime of rape is 9 years. I guess after then the evidence can be destroyed.

It’s not so much a joke about killing children as a comment in the stupidty of the situation. The best way to deal with stupidity is to laugh.
Most of the time, I agree. I just feel like now, I can’t laugh anymore. I’ve been laughing at Republican’s cruelty regarding rape for too long. It’s rape fatigue again.
